Just 10 minutes drive from the centre of Poole, English Oak Vineyard blends beautifully into the English countryside, complimenting a perfect growing terroir with a rural location that’s ideal for an fascinating and enjoyable vineyard tour with wine tasting. Surrounded by majestic oaks, our vineyard previously featured on Ben Fogle's ITV series 'Harbour Lives' offers the perfect location to discover the delights and challenges of producing Sparkling Wine, from 23,000 vines adjoin our 18th century farmhouse, set in tranquil surroundings.

On arrival, you'll park beside our enchanting koi pond at the vineyard main entrance, taking time to admire the colourful fish. Your tour, conducted by the vineyard owners ourselves, begins in the idyllic and tranquil surroundings of our oak amphitheatre and adjoining Purbeck stone waterfalls, where we'll share our start-up story. Then we guide you through a relaxed and informative walk through the seemingly endless rows of Pinot and Chardonnay vines, to discover the work involved in growing grapes to the highest standard in the UK's challenging climate. You'll admire our spectacular oak carved 'father time' sculpture as you pass through the centre of the vineyard, learning about how the vineyard is managed.

Then it’s back to our comfortable visitors centre, where you'll discover the various stages involved in crafting our range of international award winning sparkling wines using the traditional Champagne method.

Of course, the high point of the tour is a delicious wine tasting, in which you sample four international 'Decanter World Wine Award' winning sparkling wines, produced exclusively from our own vines and through this facinating process, discover the delights that different blends create on the nose and palate.

Our two hour Public Vineyard Tours operate on Fridays and Saturdays between June and October and cost £25 per person. A one hour wine tasting is available on Saturdays, from November to May. This wine tasting includes a voucher for a bottle of Engelmann Cuvee or Chinkapin Rose for each participant and costs £50 per person. Private vineyard tours, available for GROUPS OF 10 OR MORE, offer a fascinating and unusual opportunity for any group outing, for a birthday party, clubs, societies, hen and stag parties or even a corporate event with a difference.

Your tour conducted by the vineyard owners themselves, takes your group outdoors for a relaxed and informative walk through the seemingly endless rows of Pinot and Chardonnay vines, to discover the work involved in growing grapes to the highest standard in the UK's challenging climate. The walk is not strenuous and mostly on flat ground.

Then back in our visitors centre, where your group will discover how the vineyard was created and the various stages involved in bringing our range of international award winning sparkling wines to market.

The high point of the tour is of course a delicious wine tasting, in which visitors sample the international 'Decanter World Wine Award' winning

produce of the vines and discover the delights that different blends create on the nose and palate.

Facilities, including for the disabled, are provided on site. We suggest that your group bring comfortable outdoor walking shoes and clothing appropriate to the weather. Umbrellas will be provided for the outdoor part of your visit if they are needed.

Booking you space on one of our Tours couldn’t be easier.

Our Vineyard Tours operate on Fridays and Saturdays between June and September.

To reserve your place, please call us on 01258 858205, let us know your preferred date to visit, we’ll book you into our diary and take a payment by card over the telephone.

Private Group Tours for ten or more visitors are available and can be booked, by mutual arrangement, throughout the year, including Sundays and Evenings if required. To enquire about and book your Private Group Tour, please call us on 01258 858205 and we will be delighted to discuss your particular needs. A deposit is payable on booking.

All visitors are advised to bring comfortable outdoor walking shoes and clothing appropriate to the weather. Umbrellas will be provided for the outdoor part of your tour if they are needed.

Dropped in on the spur of the moment last week and were met with a really warm welcome. We were given samples and a full description of each wine which was to the point but with lots of information. We were then shown the vines and a talk about the growing and maintenance of them. Highly recommend a visit and purchase of wine. We walked away very happy with two bottles, absolutely devine!

My daughter and I took an organised tour of the vineyard with twenty or so others and heard how the vineyard began, how it has progressed and all about the sparkling wines it produces. The tour finished with a tasting of four different sparkling wines or champagnes as I would call them. My first visit to an English Vineyard, the bar is set extremely high! Fantastic! Friendly! Beautiful! The location is stunning, what Sarah and Andrew have done with the old farm is incredible! From initial greeting and Welcome, to the introductory talk, the walk through the vines, sharing stories of wine making highs and lows, and finally the tasting- all phenomenal! I cannot find enough great words to express how truly wonderful the experience is! Top it all off it’s very well priced. Thank you for making our girls weekend so special.

Our first visit here. Easy to find, good parking. Lovely setting. Beautiful amphitheatre area of seating for tour guests to sit and wait for welcome talk from Andrew. Interesting talk about Andrew and Sarah, and how they started the vineyard. Sarah did a great talk on how the vineyard was started, how it progresses through the seasons, and all the challenges they have. All very interesting and lots of facts learned.
